Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026 · House of Hiero
WorldHop is a geography discovery game for children. We built it so that no personal data ever leaves the device.
What we collect
Nothing. WorldHop:
- has no accounts and no sign-in;
- does not collect names, email addresses, or contact details (explorer nicknames and avatar choices are stored only on your device);
- does not collect or use location;
- does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind;
- does not contain third-party advertising SDKs;
- does not ask for access to your photos, contacts, microphone, or camera;
- makes no network requests during play — the entire game, including all country facts, maps, and narration, is bundled with the app and works offline.
Where game progress lives
Passport stamps, streaks, points, and explorer profiles are saved in the app's private storage on your device only. Deleting the app (or using "Reset all progress" in Settings) permanently removes them. We have no copy and no way to access them.
Children's privacy
WorldHop is designed for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children, in line with COPPA (US), the UK Children's Code, and GDPR-K (EU).
Purchases, links, and ads
WorldHop shows no advertising and has no social sharing. It offers one optional, one-off purchase — WorldHop Club — which unlocks the whole app forever. There are no subscriptions and nothing recurring. The purchase sits behind a grown-ups gate, payment is handled entirely by the app store you downloaded WorldHop from (Apple's App Store, or Google Play on Android), and WorldHop never sees your payment details.
The grown-ups area contains one outbound link: to the Club members' area on this website (worldhop.app), where a grown-up can print their Club pass and downloads. The link carries the household's membership code — an identifier minted on the device that contains no personal information — and nothing else.
Changes
If a future version changes any of the above, we will update this policy first and describe exactly what changed.
